Thanks so much - this is very helpful. You are lucky you have an extra radiator with fans. I also note that the double fan set up is very rare in Europe (seems to be something which Saab did for the 99 Turbo destined for hotter climates).
The radiator for my car was stolen while it was being worked on at my indy SAAB mechanic. I sourced a new radiator, but the fan and assembly to mount the fan is rare and tough to find. After much research, I found out that the fan used for the 9000 airconditioner is almost identical to that used on the 99 Turbo. My indy SAAB mechanic sourced two (cooling can be an issue with these cars) and manufactured a holding bracket for the fans from scratch. Your pics were very helpful - thank you!
