Fuel return line Posted by tfherb [Email] (#250) [Profile/Gallery] (more from tfherb) on Mon, 12 May 2014 08:06:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
All, I am back to working on the 76 EMS. I have a clogged or blocked fuel return line. What is the device on the drivers side of the tank? It is in the fuel line path. It looks like an accumulator from the pics but I think it is in the return line. Is it possible for the accumulator to be on the return line.
Is it possible to bypass this device?
My other question is about making new fuel lines. While trying to remove the "accumulator" if that is what it is, I twisted and broke a plastic line. What is the best source of "hose" to make the new fuel lines? The Delorean guy, specialTAuto.com has fuel line and clamps in various sizes for CIS injection systems. Is that the best source?
Thanks in advance,
--Tom
