Jon, It seems to me your going way past where you should be. You need to give a lot more information than what you have. Is it a 2.0 or 1.85? what are your issues? I doubt you have a mis-wired throttle lead, unless you changed the configuration. If it was converted to a 2.0 retaining the wrong TPS switch, you would have an issue easily corrected, but again, you need to give better information.
