Hello,

I am looking around for a 1978 Saab 99 turbo for a 3rd car. Have seen some here on saabnet and also on ebay and in the occasional private classified ad.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for or what to stay away from? I have storage space available so if it is in need of some restoration that does not scare me.

Any tricks or tips would be appreciated. My first car was a 1974 99LE and I've had 5 other Saabs...current "summer" car is a 1987 900 turbo convertible but I'm really in love with the look of the 87 99 turbos.
