Brake overhaul: advice and tips needed...

Well, I have been slowly amassing everything I need to overhaul the front brakes on my '78 turbo. Caliper rebuild kit, metalmaster pads and new rotors all amounting to about $60 on e-bay. Now here is the ironic part: Last week I noticed a puddle of fluid under my normally bone dry parking spot: Brake fluid, and from my "good" passenger side caliper. Looked to be spewing out from the rubber seal on the car side of the caliper. ARGH!! It managed to drain the reservoir in a day or two, so I just re-bled them and waited until my free day (tomorrow) This part makes me wonder: I had adjusted my e-brake just a few days before. I was driving the car this weeked, and the brake shoes on that side started dragging real bad. There was some smoke, and lots of burning brakes smell. I think the e-brake was adjusted too tight, or at least that the cable had stuck in the locked position. Got to pull off and re-adjust the e-brake, problem solved. This is after the leaking started. Anyway, what does it take to get those damn rotors off, and how much fun will it be to get the caliper rebuilt? I am not really looking forward to the project, But any advice on my recent experiences and my impending job would be helpful. Thanks!
Craig
