Yes, there is a seperate drain for the final drive (rear end) on the automatic. It's back near the axles. The automatic models have three drain plugs if I remember correctly. Engine oil, transmission fluid, and gear oil(for the rear end). The manual transmission only had two since the gear oil in the transmission also serviced the rear end. Someone correct me if I have it wrong!
