Air filters Posted by Shotgun [Email] (#3425) [Profile/Gallery]

Half venting-half question. I purchased a Weber 34 ICH from one of the reputable Saab sources (no names), who assured me that the stock air filter would bolt right on. After having to cobble a new gasket, because none came with the carb (gee, I'll have to talk to my supplier), the stock filter does NOT fit. The intake is a different diameter, the stud bolt would have to be improvised, la, la, la. SO, any recommendations out there? Has anyone used a Weber filter, and if so, does it have the connections for the fuel and crankcase vents? I'm open to anything that works correctly. Or, are we--my shop and I--missing something obvious?
