Inner driver bearing surface renewal options?

Are you aware of any means of renewing the T head inner drivers on V4 (rib case) transmissions?
Bearing shells had worn indents, drivers were swapped left to right, now less severe shake at high torque conditions, but still present and obviously won't self-repair.
All the "good" spare inners I collected over the years have finally been cleaned of the farm dirt where they were pulled from fields decades ago. All are now discovered to be equally marginal. A few could be sacrificed for the common good.
Weld up and regrind to original width? (hardening loss issue? re-harden without brittleness?)
Mill the bearing shell groove larger and fasten hard shim to restore original bearing shell OD width?
Mill the driver's groove larger and then use matching larger OD bearing shell while maintaining the same ID for the axle? (I've yet to find such size with a radiused closed end shell)
Re-cut a new groove in the driver's spline for a different driver insertion depth?
