The car ran like a 16 valver with a performance chip for a short while. The engine gave no indication of what it was about to do, it just happened. On stripping the engine down you could see where the other sodium filled valves were pitted and well on the way to the same demise. It is amaizing that it took me so long to find out what caused the valve to break, but after I found out, all sorts of people said "Oh! AvGas will do some strange things". I'd liken the burn pattern to an oxy torch. Anyway it was fun while it lasted and I have turbo piston whith a hole through the top mounted on my mantle just to keep me ever so humble.
