Hi all.

I've got a '96 900SEt, with 184k miles. For about the past week, when the car is cold, I've noticed that the boost comes and goes. It is visible on the guage, and you can feel it in acceleration. Any suggestions as to the cause? Are the problems likely to be related to the turbo itself, or are they more likely to be a biproduct of problems at the engine that are most noticable through the boost? My immediate thoughts are:

spark plugs - mine have a little over 20k on them, and are due for replacement

air filter - same mileage as plugs - probably also due for replacement

beginnings of turbo failure? Hope not.

Side note - I usually run techron through the gas with each 3000 mile oil change - the last one was about 1000 miles ago.
