I think positively that a tall individual such as yourself would LOVE the SAAB over the other marques you have named. I have to drive with 6 feet seven inch size people, and there aint a BIMMER or BENZ that affordably as a SAAB can transport them.
If you like the idea of a utilitarian type of vehicle(without the mini-van or SUV "mommy" type of styling), the SAAB excels beyond the others in cargo capacity, luggage room, etc., for the week-ends and vacations, with the fun-to-drive during the rest of the time.
I have affluent friends driving both BMW and M-B. The snobbery and class issues aside, they have their problems too. They earn too much money to let on that there was a problem.
If there was a perfect car, we'd all be driving it. Most of us SAAB owners are happy with the decisions we made to acquire the SAAB. I have reaffirmed it 15 times in the last 22 plus years.
