my '99 Vig tends to stick in 5th after it has been cruising at highway speeds for a while. Mentioned it to the dealer several times but "they can't seem to feel this!" As my 50k's are almost up and they consist of almost all highway miles, I'm more than a little paranoid that I'll have trouble down the road as the number of shifts catches up. But I must say, I have not felt any grinding, even though I consider the tranny to be tractor grade versus sports car grade in terms of "feel" I now know not to hurry a shift, and quite often double clutch, as I want this puppy to last. My 850 Volvo wagon is still on it's original clutch at 233,000 miles so I know I can shift (and yes, I am the orig. owner)
Glad people are posting their experiences on this so we may be able to stand otgether if it is indeed a recurrent phenomenon.
