It sounds like you put 25k/year miles on it, right?
so through the end of this year, you will end up with 25,000 * 0.15 = $3,750 due to the dealer. This sounds expensive, but if you just turned the car into the dealer, you'd still have to make the remaining lease payments, and you wouldn't have a Viggen convertible. Quite frankly, the car will probably last maybe 150,000 miles at best? So you get 1/6th of a 48,000 dollar car for $3750 - sounds like a deal to me.
After you buy the car, pay sales tax on 28,778 (depending on the state), buy an extended warranty, you'll end up with a 3 year old car with 75,000 miles on it. No good.
