16" and 17" wheels fit just fine. The recommended sizes are 205/50R16 and 215/45/R17, just like the SE and Viggen use. The advantage is better handling, the downside is a harsher ride over rough surfaces and an increased possibility of bending a wheel, at least with a 17". I've taken some pretty nasty hits with my Ronal-made 17" Saab wheels, and it hasn't done a thing to them, but the stock Viggen wheels from Fondmetal are fairly soft. Ronal has specials on tire and wheel combinations, and Talliaferro Saab (http://www.genuinesaab.com) currently has some specials on BBS 17" wheel and tire packages. If you find wheels and tires you like at the Tire Rack, they'll mount the tires and balance the whole thing for you, so you can just bolt them on.
