obviously have not sat in a previous gen 9-3. It seems to be as cheap as any out there. In fact, I think the new 9-3, from what I've seen can only be better. Are there large blank buttons in the new 9-3? Is the dash contoured or a flat wall like the old 9-3? I think some people are having problems leaving the dash that was designed in the '80s and accepting the new 9-3s dash. Keep in mind, everything I've read here about the car...good and bad, is all subjective. You've got 5 people that say they like this and that and 5 more people that say they don't like this and that. What's worse, you've got people talking/worrying about performance and reliability and have not even driven the car. I'm waiting for a chance to sit and drive the car, so I'll reserve my judgement until I've seen and driven available models. But I am sure of one thing, that the new 9-3 has to be a much better over all car than the current 9-3. It may not do everything better, but it will do most better I'm sure. I'm so excited about the new chassis I can't stand it. I'm excited that if i drove a 9-3 over some rough road the rear-view mirror wouldn't vibrate so bad that you couldn't see out of it...as it does in my current 9-3. I drove a 2002 Chevrolet Impala to Atlanta from Charlotte and I was discouraged when I thought the ride and the brakes were better than my 9-3. So, I expect the new 9-3 to be better.
