Did they replace the box or did they do the lube and shim? Mine was lubed twice and still wound up binding. I am in K-Town and when I was having the problem, I was going to Saab Zentrum Saarbrueken. They were willing to put in for the goodwill refund if they changed the box for me, however, they wanted me to pay the entire bill when the work got done and just hope I may get the refund. I do not have a spare $1000 just laying around for this kind of fix so I did the work myself. I spent about $150 on parts and about 12 hours total in my garage doing the work. No left over hadware and no squeeks ar rattles. :)
as for the amount of labor they should charge to change the box, I believe it is supposed to be 7 hours. If they do the lube fix, 1.5 hrs sounds about right. If they did the lube fix for you, I hope it works, otherwise you'll be back again to get everything done again. As for them not charging you, you are lucky, most German dealerships are not so nice.
