It's very easy, I've done it several times. First, make sure the steering wheel is straight, and then unplug the battery. The one time I didn't do this, it caused an error in the SRS system that the dealer had to reset (it's under warranty, just play dumb). Remove the plastic caps on either side of the steering wheel and loosen the Torx bolts behind them, which hold on the airbag. They're very tight and you'll probably need a Torx socket on a ratchet. Pull the airbag out, unplug it, and disconnect the wiring inside the steering wheel for the horn and the radio controls. Remove the steering wheel nut, pull the steering wheel off, making sure to carefully thread the wiring through the tiny hole, and you're halfway there. Putting on the new one is just the reverse.
