Saturday night, I was hit by an avalanche, chevy that is. He went through an intersection where the lights were out and t-boned me on the driver's side.
It is really a miracle and due to saab's exellent engineering that everyone is alive. My fiancee was taken to the hospital for some stiches, the other two passengers had some minor treatments but we are all alive.
My door was pushed in about 1 foot and the door behind mine was pushed in two feet.
My question is: will my car ever be repaired properly? Will they be able to properly repair the safety cage so the next time some tank hits me I will survive?
Also, a little rant: If this ayuppie (aging young urban prof) had a normal car, he could have braked and avoided the whole accident. As it is he had a massive canyonero to carry himself and his gold clubs around Atlanta.
Oh yeah, his car had to be towed away because his truck sucks.
