Even if the local Saab dealers don't do their own body work they would have to have some local shop do their work. Ask both dealers who they recommend. Make sure the appraiser looks at every thing from under the hood to under the car. Side windows are a type of safety glass in that they shatter into non-cutting pieces. Windshields are made in layers so as to not allow part of an occupant to go through the window during the start and middle of a crash and then get cut to pieces when the body (sometimes) tries to fall back inside. A few years ago I believe the Ohio Department of Highways or what ever they are called had a film crew go with the first responders to interstate accidents - the pictures were not pretty. So, stay with what is available and what the car is designed to use.
I hope that the frame/unibody is still straight and that the various bent pieces can be replaced or pulled back to their original locations - nothing will make the car the same as it ws before the accident but it should be close - good luck and let us know how you make out.
