Rim was OK. Rubber was "not round". I think it was a very irregular RR crossing at 35 mph on an unfamiliar road I had travelled that caused the toe-in problem.
This wheel alignment machine was right out of Jules Verne or something...looked like a spaceship. 4 "paddles" attached--1 to each rim and then the lights flash and instant feedback.
Oh, and by the way, my alignment was done at the local GMC-Pontiac dealer. They had all the specs and knew exactly how to do the set-up I wanted. That was nice.
The local SAAB dealer here does not have this alignment tool--they sub out their work. They've sent subbed out alignment work all over this town with very mixed results---When I asked where they sub to presently, I got "I'm not real sure, but I think the Firestone Store up the street...."
