Don't Audis and VWs in the US have a version of comfort close? Does anyone else remember that VW commercial where the guy gets his wife to come outside and watch him roll up and down the windows by just turning the key in the door lock?
And my friend has an older BMW 5 series that he can close the windows on by turning the key in the door lock.
So I dunno... maybe there isn't a law and Saab just couldn't program it.
