Not sure there is a factual basis for your commentary relating the alleged reliability superiority of Subies vs Saabs (GM). In fact for the last three years Consumer Reports has ranked SAAB as the most reliable Euro brand and almost dead even with Subies so as long as the SAABs are manufactured and assembled in Trollhatten without UAW drunkards and dullards getting their hands on the product, I do not think there is any issue relating the reliability of SAABs. Once BMW and MB started assembling their vehicles in America, their reliability began to resemble those of Chevrolet and Ford. Spend anytime in an American auto plant, and you will marvel that the cars run at all given the educational and motivational backgrounds of the UAW workforces.
