My amp has a wired remote for adjusting the sub level. I mounted it on the bottom of the B-pillar, next the driver's seat. I had all the trim out to wire the xm antenna lead, so I figured I would route the remote while I was in there.
I used the extreme dynamat on the doors, too - big PITA, but worth it. I routed the wiring harness on top of the matting, so I had to disconnect all of the connections. The cam-lock at the door latch was a beast.
