So why do you go to a dealer if you dislike them so much?

Beleive me when I say that if something new of a problem is going to show up it WILL be right after the car has been in for repairs or service, this is just Murphy's law at it's best.

I have seen it many times that something unrelated to what you did break just a week or so after.

Granted, sometimes it is actually a vacuum hose that has been knocked off or broke because it was old and brittle while you were in that area doing part of the service.
That's why it is important to look over everything one more time before closing the hood for good.

Since your car is not under warranty, take it to an independant shop and have them check out the problem. If it is something unrelated to the service, be honest and give the dealer mechanic a break.
