Are there any reputable independent Saab garages in your area? I'm actually kinda glad I'm finally OOW on our '99 9³SE. When we took our '99 in for the 30k mi service, I wanted to get the tranny "flushed". Our dealer (Tynan's in Fort Collins, CO) gave me the cheapest 30k Service price INCLUDING the flush & not just a drain-&-fill. Even though it's listed at 60k mi intervals, this is something they told me they ALWAYS recommend at 30k mi here along the Front Range of the Rockies, 'cuz of all the mountain driving folks do. When I picked the car up, I noticed there was no listing for the amount of ATF they had used. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, that's a SEPARATE $170 service." When I told them I was quoted the price INCLUDING the flush, they only said they never include a tranny service in the 30k mi price. When I said that I VERIFIED the price & included services with the Service Writer on the phone, they told me that it simply couldn't be. It was only one more example of this dealer's poor choice of customer treatment.
