Thanks for that explanation, Dean, you always do a good job of that!
I run into a problem right away though. I don't have the alignment numbers, unless they are written on the invoice I posted in the original thread *still avilable if you want to look at it* (I don't know what I'm looking for there -- there was a 3.5, a 10.64, and some 2.0's that I don't know what they mean). Also, as I posted earlier the dealership explained that toe-in was way off too. So does that mean I can't use shims or spacers or filing? Does that negate all of your instructions.
So the diagnosis the dealership came up with -- wouldn't they have HAD to have removed the wheel and checked the hub(or is that not a thought in the process of elimination)? Or is this something I should specifically ask when I get the 3rd opinion? Did the dealership even put it on a alignment rack to diagnose this problem?
