First, for those wondering about the misfiring, it went on for about 3 blocks before I shut off the car & it wouldn't start again. So as far as that goes, it was instantaneous, I didn't go driving around with it acting wierd & there was no CEL before the DI went.
Second, I didn't get a warranty book with it, it was used :(. But I do have to admit, I made a cardinal forum mistake, I posted before searching. I apologize on that & thank all of you for your timely responses. After reading what you all posted I called SaabUSA to confirm the 8 year 80K emissions warranty & that it covers the cat.
Finally, I called the dealer...they had no clue what I was talking about when I told them it should be covered under the emissions warranty. It was the first & last time I'll ever take my vehicle to them & the only reason I went there was because I needed a repair shop within a 5 mile towing radius. It shocks me how little these people know about the cars/warrantys they are selling & honoring.
Thanks again for all of your help. If I end up having to pay for the cat (god forbid they find a loophole) I might just consider that stage III. One caviat, you said I would go from 185HP, I have the HOT engine right now, is there a different setup for the HOT?
You all ROCK!
