I got the shakes also. 1998 900s w/ 2.0 turbo. Seems to be prevalent
in the 60-80 mph range. I note that it occurs when the turbo
guage is in the upper portion of the white, and if I step on it
to get it into the orange it usually dissappears, also dissapears
if I back off of gas. I find that driving with more throttle and
then backing off circumvents most of the problem. This is certainly
a mystery, maybe my next car will not be a Saab. Wish I knew the
answer to this one also. I noticed my RR tire is more worn on the
inside even thoughI rotate front to rear. I'm tempted to add
a little toe in to the RF tire. Maybe it grips and skips out
causing the shake at certain loadings. Tire pressure changes do
not seem to help.
Now I have another problem, stalling at idle, most prevalent
when warm. Car runs fine at all other speeds so I don't think
it is bad gas or fuel filter. Very intermintent.I suspect some
sensor - any ideas, I'm ready to bring it into a Saab dealer
since my local mechanic said Saab and Volvo will not give him
the diagnostic codes?
