98 900S w/ 2.0 turbo stalling at idle. Follow up to my previous message.
Car still stalls or surges at idle as previously mentioned. Similar to
other peoples problems. Tried a couple tanks of various injector
cleaner aditives and one of a dry gas- didn't seem to help.
Tried high octane gas -no help.
I removed the sensor just before the throttle body (remove electrical
connector and the unscrew sensor nut/bolt) and sprayed throttle
body cleaner into opening- seemed to help temporarily, but problem
returned, although I think less significant. I'm going to
try that again and let it sit overnite. Do when engine is cool
to prevent any fire flashes.
What we won't do for the love of a SAAB.
Maybe it is fuel line sludge since it is so random; if you find the
real solution-let us know!
