Great car, but the engine is a nightmare waiting to happen. Because of issues with the timing belt, Saab will pay for replacements at 35K and at 70K. You're own your own from 105K on. Changing a belt every 35K is a real indicator of a problem. There is nothing wrong with the belt. The problem is that the pulleys on the cranskshaft and the cams don't line up correctly causing the increased wear. I had the belt slip at 28K. The dealer replaced both cylinder heads (he had them in stock) at a warranty cost of $4600. I decided not to keep the car.
