You can do a search on dashboard lights or instrument panel, this appears to be a common problem with 94-98 900's. It is either a bad ground or poor connections within the instrument cluster. Someone has a posting on how to remove the instrument panel and possibly correct it. I've yet to fix mine but have found banging on the top of the dash will get the instruments to work again, crude but effective. You need to remove the SID and radio to access the screws for the cluster I've taken out both to see what I would be getting into but ran out of time before I went any further (you'll need DIN mount removers to remove the radio, sort of U shaped metal piece to stick in the little release holes).
good luck
George
