We've only had the Viggen since July and I haven't spoken with the dealer myself on this issue. The car is still under the extended warranty until January 2008. I can see by the service records that they have addressed this issue twice and replaced the PVC valve once. The PO wasn't a car guy. I couldn't believe it when I read the service report saying that level of oil usage was normal for the Viggen but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and poll you guys. Looks like I'm going to have to talk to them myself.
As to "his and hers"; multiple Saabs , even of the same model, is more the norm than the exception around here. I'm just happy that my wife is as much of an enthusiast as I am.
