I too drive a 00 Vig and deal with the same problem. I am convinced I have this issue due to the PCV fix that was completed on my motor, later mechanics realized the viggen/aero motor should have been left alone. You will never find me without two spare quarts of Mobil 1 in the hatch. The PCV fix should be unfixed and most likely the oil consumption will decrease, if not Im at a loss.
