Thanks to all. My car is still young enough to be covered by the perforation warranty, but I am having a very difficult time scheduling to have the rep see it. I have already been sent to a few dealers to have them look at it, but now the rep is coming. Rust is like cancer and if I can get it gone and looking perfect, it will come back if it is not done right. Even my body shop doesn't want to touch it. Yes it is 5 yrs old (rust warranty is 6 yrs), but mine is a low milage car I have cared for meticulously. Anyway. thanks again to all - I will repost a follow-up when I do speak to the rep in the next month or so.
