I remember one time when I changed a broken clutch cable on my NG900 I forget to hook up the brake pedal switch for the cruise. Forgetting to hook this up caused the cruise control to not set. I had to take apart the lower dash again to hook up that one silly, but important, switch. My guess is that they were doing work down under the dash and forgot to plug the switch back in.
