I'm in the salt belt, actually very close to Summit Racing where I bought Speed Bleeders for my old 89 900. They worked really well when I installed them.

Next time I go to bleed the brakes, the ball-check valve was corroded so they didn't work at all. I had to actually remove them before getting any fluid, so I went back to normal bleeders at that point.

Maybe if they've started making them out of stainless steel??
