Sorry for not including the details. The car is a 97' 900 non-turbo, automatic transmission.
As stated in this and my earlier post, I am aware that the temperature sensor affects the mixture (and perhaps other parameters).
However, I was under the impression that the temperature sender only provided the input for the dash gauge and did not affect operation in any way.
What the dealer is telling me is that if the sender indicates overheating, it can affect operation. Can anyone verify or refute this? Thanks
