Gentlemen-thanks for the prompt replies. I do have to thank you all, especially Viggenator, as i left these test drives ready to throw in the towel with the saab convertible. As mentioned, I have had 5 and knew about the front end shimmy, to limited extent, and typically could cure with correct tire pressure, especially in the NG ones that I had. However, the several that I drove just were wrong, and frankly pretty scary in one of them! I am going to continue to shop, and drive a few more before I purchase, and then order the 6 point and rack brace! Thanks again, and am looking forward to being back with some real saab issues to solve instead of lurking
