I just picked up a 1999 9-3 with 65K. I got it cheap because it needed a head gasket. While the head was off I thought the timing chain galley looked quite clean so I've been driving her. I'm thinking about a little insurance and remembered that Chemtool really takes off varnish and carbon. I was wondering if anyone has drained their oil on one day and while the crankcase is empty dumping in a quart of Chemtool overnight to soak the pickup screen. Drain the Chemtool the next day and add fresh oil.
