it is really simple to replace so you shouldn't have to worry.

If you get a stock replacement you don't have to cut off the stock electrical connector and add new ones.

I used simple crimp-on female connecters that fit whatever type the speaker has on it. Usually will have a small metal tab for just this type of connector.

If I remember correctly, you don't have to get bent out of shape figuring which wire goes to + or -. Because if it is wrong it simply won't work and you'll know. So test your connection before screwing the speaker into the door.
