Hydraulic clutch replacement in 96 SET.

My name has been listed so many times with the NG clutch cable replacement issue, it is embarassing. I have had at least 4 new clutch cables on my 96 900 SET. I hit the last straw on Friday driving on a back road shortcut. I was in 4th gear when it happened. With a bit of luck, several u turns and a bit of good planning, I was able to get from the back roads to a major highway to an expressway and to an exit where I had only one left turn at a light. I got the car in the driveway and now I am not waiting, it is conversion to a hydraulic clutch. My question is related to the simplest method to make this change. I believe in my extensive reading each time my cable failed that there is evidence of more than one way to "skin this cat." One requires the transmission being taken out and the other does not. Could somebody tell me what the truth is in this issue. I have found a lot of information on the general topic, but I have been shooting blanks on this particular question. I would greatly appreciate any information including those wonderful picture diagrams of the replacement process [web addresses]. What is the simplest and/or best way to replace the original cable activated system with hydraulic one and where can the necessary parts be found ?
Regards,
Bill Yahwak
