If you take your time and are patient, it is not that hard. Just time consuming. Make sure you are very deliberate with your motions to avoid dropping things inside the console, etc. I recommend you avoid making this repair in cold weather because plastic bits become very brittle and can break easier. See link for details of my experience a couple of years ago.
