Sometimes I just don't understand people.
When you tell them what's wrong and how to fix it, they counter with but what if it is something else, what should I do then, BEFORE they have even tried the repair suggested.
Or they ask, so how much longer can I drive with this broken part before I need to replace it.
I just don't get it. All the people here that helps out have no clue how much longer a person can drive with a bad part. But one rule of thumb is, when the engine doesn't manage to move the car forward anymore due to seizing up from overheat or lack of oil or anything else, that is usually how long you can drive it.
