Is she going to be okay?

It's my mothers car (not the Viggen!) and the oil level wasn't checked, unfortunately. I had been away for 3 weeks and went to drive the car today. On my way, the chime went on and I saw a flicker of the oil pressure light come on. I freaked out and thankfully (by chance) I was minutes away from my local Saab indy shop. As I drove there, the light turned on and off a couple more times for a split second.

I checked the oil level and it didn't even register on the dipstick. I know; not good at all. They filled it with oil and it had nearly 3 liters missing. My goodness, what worry.

The car drives fine now and, it even did before, strangely enough (?). I'm not happy at all this happened, but it did. Now all we can do is move forward.

It's obviously losing oil *somewhere, somehow* and it'll get checked in a couple of weeks. Until then, I'll monitor the oil religiously.

I sure hope nothing happened to the engine... This was awfully scary. I wonder what could be wrong!

I'll report back when I know in a couple of weeks time.
