I've only changed the standard shift model. This requires removing the center console and the shifter housing. The switch is removed from the under side of the shifter housing. I did the work without disconnecting the shifter from the transmission but in retrospect I would remove the shifter. To do this you put the trans in 4th gear, lock it into fourth by removing the rubber plug in the lock hole on the top of the trans and insert a rod, I use a long Allen wrench, to lock the trans into fourth. Once you check it is in fact locked you remove the shifter rid from the trans where the shifter rod comes through the firewall on the engine side of the firewall. The electrical switch portion is separate from the key portion of the switch. Buy the new ignition switch and you will have a better idea of doing the work. When you pry the window control module out of the center console be careful as you lift the module out be careful not to break the connector cover for the wiring to the module. You also need to know about the plastic fasteners that have a small button in the center. Push the center button in with a tool you can the remove the fastener. There are two of these holding the top of the panel that holds the radio. Take care as you need to remove these fasteners.
