I have a 2001 Viggen ending in 17015062. Do I need to perform the headbolt retorque?
If I do, is it:
Step 1: Loosen one bolt, tighten to 30 ft/lbs, complete for each bolt in order
Step 2: Go back to first bolt, tighten to 44 ft/lbs, complete again for each bolt inorder
Step 3: Go through each one and perform a 90 deg turn.
The bulletin on Ander's page is not well explained where he has a picture of it from Saab. Are those the three steps to take? I recall there had been a couple of different ways to go about it.
I have purchased the headbolt about 4 years ago from GenuineSaab.com. I never got around to doing it and the car isn't driven much. They had told me the bolts they were selling were the new spec. Hopefully they haven't changed yet again since then.
Thanks for the tips.
Bender
