If you're replacing the front crank seal then the oil pump o-ring is another $5.00 in parts and 20 minutes of work to do. It is the most likely reason the front seal is leaking anyway. The oil pump cover, which has the o-ring to be replaced, is literally right behind the crank seal and held in place with 1 circlip. It's one of the most basic mechanical jobs you can find on the car.
The pulley on the crank is just held on with a bolt. No puller needed. I just did my son's '00 vert in the driveway a few weeks ago. $9 in parts, $10 for a large circlip tool (it is a big circlip and quite strong) and an hour in labor. The o-ring had split and was leaking slightly; I had a nice coating of oil along the subframe, alternator and passenger drive shaft from it.
