If you applied that to NG900, you could exceed the fuel cut pressure, and the air fuel mixture would go lean, causing severe and destructive knock.
I was under the impression that the method that you describe was for vehicles with a mass air sensor. Those cars used the MAP sensor to cut fuel. But the mass air sensor was used for mixture control. The MAP is then used to control the BCP with what used to be a separate APC box, which was adjustable with a screw driver at one point. I don't know the detail very well, just picked up on this from the BB.
The NG900's do not have a mass air sensor, but use the engine RPM's air temp, and MAP sensor to calculate air mass flow and set the fuel delivery accordingly. The APC is these units is reduced to a subroutine in the ECU
If you go with that supplier, you should be in good hands. You will have to purchase a working BPC unit though. With the HBC, you would not have to do this. The HBC would have met your original criterion.
Swedish Dynamics can provide many reliable and well understood mods. Good luck.
