I received a letter in the mail from Saab on this problem. I can only suspect that if you didn't get it you may have "moved" or the car was purchased "used". When I brought my car in for the sludge problem recall, the Head was so "badly damaged", Saab installed a brand new one. It took about 2 weeks to get my new Saab back from the dealer.
