uh, i think you need a new gearbox Dude....
where are you located? someone on the board can prolly direct you to the nearest Saab expert.
keep in mind Scanwest in Seattle can maybe rebuild your gearbox (no guarantees there since you've obviously driven it waaaaay too long in a substandard condition) or perhaps has a good used or rebuilt unit, but i called them recently and they had no 5 speeds for Viggen, the NG or the OG Saabs in stock.
YOu might have to let the old girl go depending on whether you can find a newer gearbox or not.
FWIW if all you can find is a 9-3 gearbox, this will present the opportunity to upgrade your car from the clutch cable to a hydraulic clutch, but you must use an OG 9-3 gearbox and there are a lot of other modifications needed (different clutch pedal and mechanism, a new hole in the firewall, 9-3 brake reservoir, etc etc.
